Embark on a journey of self-reflection and rejuvenation as you immerse yourself in the blissful practices of meditation and yoga. Following six days of introspection and inner harmony, our adventure continues as we set forth on a week-long exploration of the enchanting landscapes of Sri Lanka.
Meditate, practice Yoga and explore Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is an enchanting country: sacred mountains and sacred temples dedicated to Buddhism, which here draws on its oldest and most historic origins; a nature where tropical jungle gives way to the beauty of rice paddies, hillsides decorated by tea plantations, and an astonishing artistic heritage. The hospitable, friendly and deeply religious population gives the island an extraordinary charm.
The first part of the retreat is about meditation & yoga. We will stay six days in the Swiss Lanka Dharma Center and are going on a daily schedule for meditation and yoga. The sessions are led by teachers Monk Ven. Anuruddha and Sabrina Bartolomei.
After we start our tour to explore Sri Lanka. We will visit the most representative places of Buddhism, the tea plantations. Sri Lanka is Buddhist but also Hindu, Muslim, animist and Christian. It is Sinhalese but also Tamil, Arab, Veddah, Malay and Western. It is a sponge that for two thousand years has absorbed peoples, cultures and religions with the richness of its history and the beauty of its landscapes.When life feels out of control, our natural coping mechanism is to grasp at anything that gives us a sense of security and stability. This reaction frequently results in careless behaviour and added misery.

Price
The costs have multiple components
- EUR 1 890 (includes paperwork, full board of the first week in the monastery and the private minibus the whole holiday, translator in Italian)
- 650 euros to be paid locally as a common fund for the Srilanka tour days, for overnight stays, meals, entry to times.
- The fee does not include the flight to Sri Lanka
